And So It Begins ... OIVAC 2009
And we want you!
Hello,
We're excited to announce we're now accepting Volunteer and Speaker requests
for the 2009 Online International Virtual Assistants Convention (OIVAC); the
dates and times this year are Thursday, May 14 thru Saturday, May 16, 2009,
8 a.m. to 12 midnight, daily.
We know you're as anxious as we to kick this off, so here's how you can get
involved right away. Please click this link (http://www.oivac.com/form-volunteer.htm)
to complete the Volunteer form and/or this one (http://www.oivac.com/form-speaker.htm)
to complete the Speaker form. Send them in as soon as you can (well, at least by our deadline of February 28, 2009).
If you're unable to volunteer or if a commitment to speaking is not on your radar this time around, we do encourage you to reserve these dates. We already have a great line-up of activities you won't want to miss.

No, we are not yet accepting nominations. That process will begin in March. I will post an announcement when applications are being accepted. You can also signup to receive announcements direct in your email box. Visit OIVAC and join the mail list.

We are now accepting nominations for the Thomas Leonard International Virtual Assistant of Distinction and Janet Jordan Achievement awards. Nomination deadline date is: March 20, 2009. You can obtain details, review minimum qualifications and locate a nomination application form by visiting OIVAC.
