About a year and a half ago I met a virtual co-worker and we've been friends too. I would like to tell her how much her friendship means to me even it's virtual. We've never met of course just see pictures of each other:)

Actually my mind started racing, how is this?
It is very difficult to encapsulate a friendship in a single word. However, over the last year when I think of ours, it is not a word that comes to mind, but a feeling. It is a feeling I did not expect to get from someone I have never met or shared a cup of coffee with. That feeling is one of comfort. As you know, in our world this is not a feeling that comes easily and is a rarity instead of the norm. That being said, I wanted to reach out to you and let you know just how much I appreciate the friendship we have established in such a short period of time. Business will always be business but it’s the personal relationships forged through them that makes life and work that much more enjoyable. Thank you.

Wow, very well said. Can I ask what are you doing as a customized card creator, do you add pictures etc and will they be ecards or physical cards to give people.

From a picture standpoint I do inspirational stuff and layer that on top of an appropriate picture and frame it. However, from a card standpoint not sure which direction I am heading. Potentially both, eCards would allow for last minute type stuff as well as be a little easier, however, I am old fashioned and like the physical card better. I have been researching card makers to see costs, distribution, etc. (outsourcing vs. reselling). I will be making a decision on that in the next couple of weeks.

I have a family friend that is dying of Leukemia. He has hurt many of us with his actions.
We are having a hard time showing sympathy for him in his time of need.

It would be phenemenol if we I could somehow break the ice with a card or letter before seeing him.

First I am very sorry to hear about your friend, my thoughts and prayers will be with all of you.
Second, this is def. a very sensitive situation and to make sure I get in the right mindset, I was wondering if you could give me a little more info.
1- Is he aware his actions have hurt all of you?
2- Could you give me a 20,000 foot view of one of those actions? (I want to understand him a little)
3- I am assuming his head is bald? (Potential humor topic to break ice)

Lastly, I would just like to share a quick suggestion (take it or leave it). If you hear anyone refer to karma and his condition, although part of you might agree, be sure to speak up and stick up for him. That energy will find him and he needs it.

2- Could you give me a 20,000 foot view of one of those actions? (I want to understand him a little). He did not even show up to his own daughters wedding because he was too infatuated with booze and drugs.

3- I am assuming his head is bald? (Potential humor topic to break ice). Actually he shaves short so it kinda looks that way.

Anyway, he is just one of those guys that has been cursed since birth I'm afraid. We love him to death but he just makes it so darn hard. He knows it too and that is why nobody really expects much from him. It's just a bad situation and we desperately need to make amends.

Sorry to get some darn sappy...I know this is supposed to be about business. I've been very distracted lately because of this.
