What are your thoughts on having a printed brochure for your own Virtual Assistant business? I've been asked if I would like to supply some for an upcoming educational event for local administrative professionals, and I hadn't thought much about having one until now. What were your deciding factors in either producing or not producing a brochure? Does anyone have a brochure for their own business they would be willing to share (for ideas)?

A brochure can be a very useful marketing tool when you meet people at networking events or even to mail out. I've used a brochure in the past and think it's a great idea for your event. I've attached a brochure I've used in the past. Hope this helps! Sue

A brochure is very effective for giving prospective clients a better idea of what a VA is and what we can do for them. I use them at networking events and in mailings, as Sue mentioned, and I also use a PDF of my brochure to send by email. I have attached mine here for your reference as well. (Note that my 'gold' is actually printed in gold rather than the golden-yellow of desktop printing capabilities.)

HP makes a handy pre-scored tri-fold glossy brochure paper that prints easily for the do-it-yourselfer; however, I found the inkjet print will scratch -- laser printing is definitely recommended.

Hope this is helpful as well!
