Completing and Updating Your Profile Page
To gain the most from using Find Virtual update and complete your profile page. Put as much detail about yourself and your business as is relevant on this page. If it's been a while since you've looked at your profile page, take a look and see if it needs to be updated.
This will make it easier when potential clients visit Find Virtual looking for a virtual assistant to find a VA that fits their needs. Perhaps when you first set up your profile page you hadn't finished your website and didn't post a link. If you've since finished your site or joined another social network, such as Twitter or Facebook, make sure to add this information.
Is your profile page complete and up-to-date? It can include:
1. Your website link
2. Facebook profile link
3. Twitter Profile link
4. LinkedIn Profile link
5. Photo - we'd like to see who you are as it helps us relate and think of you as a person, not just an entity.
6. An feed to your blog
7. Photos and videos
8. Create your own text box and add text and images
While you're at it, why not visit all your social networking sites and make sure your profile is complete and updated. The more people know about you, the more likely they are to trust you and want to do business with you!

These are good tips Sue. Some people just forgot to fill out important parts of their profile.
You'll be able to sell yourself more with a good profile.
Though I have a question to ask... What can you suggest that we should really put in the text box?

Thank you Michael. As far as the text box is concerned, there are endless possibilities of what you might put there. Since I have co-authored a book for VAs, I've included information about that as well as other things.
Since I didn't see your website link I can't see if you have any information on your website that you could post in a text box. You might consider writing a short article on how you do directory submissions since I saw that in your profile.
