Ipad or other mobile computer device - on the go virtual assistants what do you use?
Hello all
I have been researching the variety of products promised, on the market currently and of course, the desirable Ipad.
Not being an Apple user, I want to make sure that I make the right purchase and not just caught up in the hype.
My needs are to have mobile 3G internet access, so that I can keep working while on the move, but keep it cost efficient.
It appears that the 3g package with Apple is the cheapest, able to switch with ease between wireless and 3G and that the other packages are pricey and super expensive if you go over the limit - in fact, heard of a bill for a few thousand for a subscriber.
HP and a variety are bringing out products in the near future.
What is your experience or your preference for any of the 3G products - do you just use a regular laptop and subscribe, love the Ipad, or like me, waiting to see?

Hi Carol, I have the 3GS iPhone, a Mac Book and a desktop iMac. I don't have an iPad, and have no plans to go that route in the near future. My iPhone and the $39.00/mo unlimited data plan provide all that I need on the go. You can access the web, email, calendar etc., over 3G very quickly, and can stay in touch via one of the apps for Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn.
Absolutely love the iPhone, I've had it for about 1.5 years now and never had a single issue. And the best part, it's got great reception and sound quality, the speaker (a must have feature for me) is amazing, and you can surf/multi-tasking while on a call. If you have an Apple store nearby, stop by and play a little, that's how I ended up with mine.
Good luck with your purchase, whichever way you go, it's difficult with so many products out there to choose from.
