Discover virtual entrepreneurship by building a career using skills you already have.

Over the last seven years, I've had ample opportunity to network with various agencies.  One of those agencies just recently highlighted my success story as one of "their very own" success
stories.  On this, the last day of "Small Business Week," I'm
pleased to share this article/endorsement from Community Ventures Corporation
of Kentucky.

Community Ventures Corporation of Kentucky sent this out to nearly every newspaper in Kentucky!  So, I said all of that to say this......NETWORK whenever possible!  Through our association with each other, we are able to empower, and possibly equip each other with the necessary tools needed to be as successful as possible.  Remember, “What a man sows, that shall he also reap.”

If you haven't visited my "Virtual Open House" at http://www.OPTTOnline.com,
I'd like to encourage you to do that, as well.

Now, please share YOUR successes with networking!  It truly is a POWERFUL tool for small business owners!  I'm curious to learn what avenues YOU'VE used to grow your business through networking.  Thoughts?????

I'll close with this quote:  "The only way to find the limits of the
possible is by going beyond them to the impossible."  Arthur C.Clarke.

Go ahead, and DREAM the IMPOSSIBLE!!!

Networking is a very effective way to meet new people, begin building trusting relationships and build your business through referrals.

Joel and I have been attending one particular networking meeting regularly for nearly 3 years and the majority of our referrals come from that group. It's important to meet people you feel comfortable with and would eagerly refer to your associates once you build a trusting relationship.

On the flip side, if a person networks only to gather as many business cards as possible to generate leads, that's not effective. That person will turn off prospects!
The thing I like about networking with other virtual businesses is because we all seem to have the same passion. It also gives me a sense of relief to talk with others in the same situation. Somewhat of a support group.
