Find, hire and network with a Virtual Assistant

I recently read "Permission Marketing" by Seth and was really taken back with his ability to articulate what we have all been feeling. This particular book is a little older but has a tremendous amount of character. I would highly recommend everyone check this book out.

Seth has several more on the market including Tribes which is already a best seller despite just recently being released.

He is amazing, Kelly. I think he might just be the best there is.

I'm a HUGE fan and promoter of all of Seth's works, his blogs, his many projects, including his blog, Squidoo, ChangeThis.com, his closed social network Triiibes. He makes us think differently and therefore we act differently. He is the all time tribal leader.

I've heard quite alot of him and his books but I've never read any. Should look into getting some of his books.

Seth is the clearest head in the marketing world. Quick thoughts on some of his books; if you'd like full reviews, just let me know:

All Marketers Are Liars—it's really about the incredible power of storytelling, emotional narrative, in your marketing. If you're not telling stories, your marketing is broken. (That's my claim, not Seth's.)

Free Prize Inside—remember the toy in the Cracker Jack box? Yeah. Grown up business people still love it. Add a free prize (what marketers call a 'soft innovation') which is not simply more of what they bought, but a cool and completely different thing. People often buy because of the free prize more than the service itself.

Purple Cow—remarkable means both 'amazing' and 'worth remarking on, or talking about'. Remarkableness needs to be built in from day one, not bolted on later. Remarkable requires going to the edge, not staying safe in the center.

The Dip—is what you're trying even worth doing? How can you know? Every new service or idea you have has a dip you have to push through. Here's now to know if it's a dip, or a dead end.

Tribes—they're not just your clients, they're your tribe. If you're not making an emotional connection with those you work with and for, you're going to lose them to someone who will.
