It's been awhile since we've chatted so my questions are:

 

1. What's new since the New Year Resolution craze?
2. Did you make any for your business?
3. If so, how are you doing at keeping them?

I made two: stay organized and follow my schedule. So far I'm doing ok at staying organized, however with two school-aged boys (8 & 9) following my schedule doesn't always happen.

 

I'm looking forward to reading what ya'll have to say...

Hi everyone! I'm in Sebring, Ohio... If I hear of any networking opportunities I'll be sure to post them here. I do work mostly with people out of state, and haven't had much luck locally. As I am a REVA though, the market is terrible locally and not too many are ready to pay my rates.

Good Afternoon fellow Ohio VAs! Based on the posted locations here, I am right in the center of everyone - just south of Canton. I like Tiffany's idea of sharing networking opportunities - and I would like to add the idea of sharing opportunities for VA support and local seminars/symposiums that may be helpful to our industry.

There are alot of opportunities to bid on projects on elance.com. Try them out. You pay a monthly fee, but if you get just one job, that will pay for the monthly fee you pay.

Hey fellow Ohioans - I just thought it would be good to share any networking events we hear of with each other. Since we are all fairly close, it might be nice to keep each other in the loop on local opportunities...just a thought!
