In the world of the Internet everyone has moved away from sending the personal greeting card to their clients, family and friends. If this is you or your client, start small and build the database you have and start calling everyone. Leave a message and ask them to either call you back or email you their birthday.

Everyone loves to tell others when their birthday is, so start now and build your birthday list for 2009!

BTW, when is your birthday? Mine? 6/2 - :D

I like this post because the importance of personalization while doing business i often overlooked. Sending a handwritten thank you has always been one of my steps in client management.

Great to have you here Kim!
Perfect tip Kim. We are always looking for the best ways to keep in touch with clients and past clients to show how much we care. I do have "most" of my clients birthdays as it is asked in their Client information form when they start with my services. However, there are those from MANY years ago when I did not have the form which I need to get back in touch with.

Birthday? 4/18 ;-)
