Virtual Dream Office Services - Elevator Speech

http://www.mypodcastharmony.com/avp/audio/avp-ep9.mp3
My elevator speeches change from situation to situation ... this one generally takes me about 20 seconds to spew forth and perks their interest enough to want to go to MY floor instead of theirs or to follow me out of the building for more information (at which point, I get them with a marketing brochure, a business card, and an offer of coffee!).

I am, primarily, an Administrative Professional, having enjoyed many years of experience in a variety of industries and am now considered an expert in my field. I train, manage, consult with, and perform special project services and, generally, am known throughout my professional career as the person who Gets It Done.

I have an uncanny ability to assess situations, develop and implement improvements, where necessary, in order to restore or improve efficiency and increase the bottom line both for my employers and for my clients through CNRH Enterprises.
Instead of an elevator speech or a 15-second pitch, I say this:

I'm the person people from around the world call when they need administrative support without increasing their overhead costs.

It opens up a discussion of my services and most of the time the other person asks more questions about my services than me asking them about theirs.

Try it out and see if it doesn't work better...

Vicki, that's a GREAT idea! I'll have to try it.
It opens up a discussion of my services and most of the time the other person asks more questions about my services than me asking them about theirs.

Hi Viki,
This is a great idea for an elevator speech or "pitch." I've been searching for something short, easy to say and interesting. Thanks so much for sharing. I'm going to give it a try.
