Twitter began a rollout of a new Local Trends feature last week, and now the company reports Local Trends is live to all.

Deb,
Tweetlater is a great tool for setting up future posts on twitter, but if you want to pre-post to multiple networks at one time You can use postlater.com (not free) in conjunction with ping.fm

Nice to see some Twitter friends here. I found this site from Twitter. Hope to network more often and share and gain insights in this our VA world.

Hey Susi, how are you dear? Thanks so much for that info. I am using Ping and Digsby, however, I did not find anything that I could set up to post comments automatically. I have not checked out Tweetlater and that sounds like something I'm interested in. You are right about responding to DM's and I do plan on doing that for each one personally as I too believe it is a bit more personal. I think Tweetlater may be what I'm searching for, something to set up and post comments auto. Thanks so much dear for your help as you are always willing to help and I cannot tell you how much I appreciate that! Enjoy your day Susi and I always enjoy your tweets! Thank again dear!

Hi Deb - Tweetlater (http://www.tweetlater.com) is a great tool for this. Ping is another one (http://Ping.fm) although this is more for updating your statuses on multiple social networks. Auto replies are a convenience, but may not necessarily be the route you want to take. They can be seen as impersonal. A DM to your new followers that has their name and a personalized note goes a long way in the Twitter community. You may also way to take a look at Tweetdeck or Digsby (http://www.tweetdeck.com or http://www.digsby.com) as they are both tools that can help you manage tweets from a desktop application. In addition to Twitter, Tweetdeck allows posts to Facebook as well and Digsby allows posts to Facebook, MySpace, LinkedIn and many web email programs. Hope this helps!

Good morning all, just a quick question. Is there any sort of software that will let me set up comments to be posted at particular times? Also, auto replies and send DM's to my followers? Just curious, loving twitter but need something to help me with some of it. Thanks to all of you that will reply, I greatly appreciate it!
