Why I Started This Group

My name is Sue Canfield and I'm a virtual assistant and mom of a five-year old daughter, Fiona. That's her picture representing the group. She's in Kindergarten and we're homeschooling her.

This group is for virtual assistant moms and dad who work from home surrounded by their children because either they are too young to be in school or are homeschooled. Its purpose is to discuss the challenges we face and share our stories with one another.

So let's get started!

Well, there are times when wives feel their husbands act like 10 year olds! Thanks for clarifying. :)

Hello Everyone! I am a VA and a mom for the last 15 years. I have two sons Jessie and Cody who are 15 and 12 1/2 years old. I decided to become a VA back in 2008 when Sierra College opened a new VA degree program. I have taken several classes and should have my AA degree in this field with in a year or two. I have 15 years of office and customer service experience. Since finding the degree program at Sierra College and being at home the last several years I decided this was the carrer for me. My husband is 10 years old and wants to retire at 60, but I would like to remain working and still have time with him. As a VA I can travel with him and still have a great career!
In addition to administrative services, I plan of offering genealogy research and scrapbooking of their ancestrial photos to my list of services. I am looking for people that need help getting started and doing their research.

Sincerely,
Neilia Dudlely
VA/Genealogist
