I am just starting out. Even though it seemed to be going slowly things are just starting to click. I am really excited. I am specializing in transcription services.

Hi Ann Nice to meet you. I am in several local networking groups and so far this is where I have found 3 clients in one weeks time. I'm just getting started so haven't done a lot of marketing. That seems to be the best way so far. Good luck and if I come up with other things I'll let you know.

Crystal I wrote an article recently about social media networking.

So far the old fashioned way has been best for me. I target small businesses in my local area within the industries that I know and have experience in. I have gotten all of my clients that way.
Right now I'm working on marketing. I have one client that is in a down mode and another one is supposed to be contacting me today.
My biggest challenge has been finding the balance. At one point several months ago I had more work than I could keep up with, now it's quiet. I'm trying to more into areas that I can have a more controlled steady stream of work so that I can plan around any needs for sub contractors.
Good Luck with your client search
Ann
