Able to do most everything as I've worked for a non-profit corporation for 15 years but executive secretarial experience in a variety of offices for over 30 years (legal, oil companies, etc.)

There's a great software tool for virtual assistants to track your time. It's called Chrometa. Visit their website and take a free trial. I personally know Brett Owens of Chrometa and they are happy to answer any questions you have. He presented to our local VA group last year and another member of Find Virtual, Kris Price, uses their software.
Hi Andrea and welcome to FV! Looking forward to networking and getting to know you. This is an awesome community to be a part of with wonderful people to guide and direct along the way. Enjoy and have fun! Happy Valentines Day!

Ah, Wordpress is a good platform. I do understand that it can be daunting. But I also believe that clean and simple is good. Just because other people have tons of info on their sites doesn't mean you need to yet. Read this blog post about tips for your VA website and let me know if it helps any.
I recently simplified my VA website as I thought it was getting to cluttered.
Even if you choose to go the subcontractor route, you still want to have a website where VAs that are looking for subcontractors can learn about you.
And as I mentioned before, having a business plan and marketing plan in place really helps. It's not as difficult as you may think.
I don't have a VA site yet as I've just begun to really get the ball rolling after putting it on the back burner for awhile. I have done websites as well as Wordpress sites so know I can do it but feel just a tad intimidated as to what to put on it. I've seen so many good sites with so much info, it's a bit daunting. I also have read a bit from others who are pursuing the subcontractor route and think this may be a great way to get started.
Starting with a good foundation is important. It's vital to have some things in place to launch yourself to success. I see you don't have a VA site yet. Are you working on one? Do you have a business and marketing plan in place?
