A really useful tool to have in your "Kit Bag"!

I know that we all have our favourite websites and companies!

VistaPrint is one of my favourites and I have been using their promotional items for years (before I even thought about being a VA)! I have always found them to be good quality and many of their items are "free" - you just pay for the postage!

I think it is a fairly inexpensive way of trying lots of different ideas to promote my company and seeing what works the best! As well as all the stationery equipment i.e. business cards they also do some great baseball caps and tee-shirts!

The Magic of Marketing!

This evening I went to a free marketing seminar and as a newbie I found it really interesting! I also found the networking opportunity - even in a small group - really beneficial and was able to hand out some of my business cards. It was a diverse group ranging from a lady who had a milkshake bar to another who practised natural therapies. There was even someone about to sell healthy chocolate!

It just depends. I have been marketing my business since July. I have had a few clients who have found me from Yellowpages.com. I find the rates there are reasonable. I have done quite a bit of transcription. This is the reason why I am now networking to find more business from other entrepeneurs online. Good Luck with your Business. Also offering to help other VA's with outsourcing helps a bunch to get your name out there.

Wow...that's quite an endeavor. Good luck. The next thing on my bookkeeping plan is to get a certification from AIBP. Currently I'm working on alot of the marketing stuff. I'm not quite sure if I'll incorporate into my service offerings (although that looks like an up and coming niche), but at the very least I'm learning quite a bit that I can apply to my own business.
