While it is true that you can become a VA without certification. This new field is like any other career, those who are certified or have a degree as a Virtual Office Professional will have that extra edge.

Sierra College offers both a AA-degree or Certificate in the VA field. I found this especially appealing as a 30-something wife and mother with some college under my belt but no degree. In this program all classes are done online for the certificate and…
