I found my first clients through networking on this site. One of the VAs needed some help and she subcontracted some work to me. Once I learned all the ropes of marketing, I then started networking, posting ads on craigslist, twitter, FB, and LinkedIn. Just being as active as you can within the social networks helps tremendously. Once I got a few clients, then they started referring me to people they knew. Unfortunately, it did not happen overnight...that is the hard part. However, if you stick with it and be consistent, then you'll start to reap the benefits of all the time you've invested. I also did guest blog posts to get my name out there, comment on other blogs, tons of article marketing, and just start asking around. Once I was able to narrow down my niche (Ghostwriting) then things really started to pick up! You will first need to know exactly what it is you do, how you can help someone solve their problems with your services. Does that make any sense...LOL. Good luck dear and let me know if you need anything further. Enjoy that baby graduating from preschool, that is always an exciting time!
Make it a terrific Tuesday!
