Helping Virtual Assistants Become Entrepreneurs!

A Virtual Assistant Is An Entrepreneur Not An Employee

Welcome to the home of the Chief Virtual Officer—that's you! It takes more than administrative or technical skills to operate a successful VA business. More than anything else, it takes business skills. You are, first and foremost, a business operator; an entrepreneur.

Many business owners like you have built a company around something they're passionate about; something at which they're an expert. It's not always accompanied by any real business training or knowledge.

That's where we come in.

Sounds great! I really appreciate that and will keep you in mind if I'm in need of a VA with a particular skill!

Thanks Sue!

With more than 20 years of experience as an administrative professional, I am a full-service Executive Virtual Assistant business provider based out of the Greater Philadelphia area, and love what I do!

One of my goals is creating a network of people with diverse skills so that I can grow into  a position to start sub-contracting work.

Hi,

The course is given out of Red Deer College, Alberta. It is a vitual class so I have to sit in. The first semester started last September and included the following: Monday-Document Formatting (Word), Tuesdays-Marketing, Wednesdays-How to Start a Successful VA business, Thursdays-Accounting (which was the hardest one for me). I just started second semester last week which includes: Mondays-Desktop Publishing, Tuesdays-Web Design, Wednesdays-Communication, Thursdays-Simply Accounting. The third semester will include the following: Mondays and Wednesdays-Office Management Virtual Business and Tuesdays and Thursdays will be a practicum. All will be finished by June. Then I can open my doors for business although if I could start before that would be great too. I also took a mini course and I have a Virtual Event Specialist Certificate.

When I click on "Choose File" and my pic comes up, the page tells me to "Select the visible portion of the picture" When I click on the picture, it does nothing but highlight.
