This week I'm very excited to announce I've got a brand new website up and running for my podcast series. This winter the podcasts series "Software Savvy Sub" was started to help the virtual business owner learn of software necessary to run a business. This week I just found a new host and created a brand new look. Please check it out and give me your feedback. It's been a great learning experience and sense of accomplishment.…

Writing
essays have become my ultimate refuge whenever I feel like life is so unbearable. It has become my only source of happiness. It is my only way of ranting how I am truly feeling – whether I feel like cursing the world I’m into or being so grateful of the blessings I have received.
I have always been a writer ever since I was a kid. My mom would always catch me writing instead of playing like any other ordinary kids of my age. When I…

I recently came across an online program called Smartsheet.
www.smartsheet.com
Apparently, folks use it to collaborate with staff or clients in many ways, such as project management, event management, time tracking, sales pipelines, tasks lists, and issue tracker.
Is anyone familiar with this program? Have you used it? I jotted down this blog note to everyone before checking the FindVirtual blog topic archives, so please forgive me if this topic has been discussed…

I am often asked what’s the best way to choose a virtual assistant to partner with. I always encourage folks to go with their gut instinct. Find a virtual assistant that is a “fit” for them. There are so many virtual assistants out there that you are sure to find someone that you feel comfortable with and that can provide you with the services that you need. If you are on Twitter for instance ask folks for recommendations.
Ask questions! For instance if you are looking for a virtual…

In an effort to stand out and leave my mark, I decided that it is time for me to create my own customized "title brand". I know of several virtual professionals who've successfully turned things around just by developing a unique name for themselves. Take the 1Shopping Cart Queen and Software Savvy Sub. I bet you know exactly what they specialize in just by looking at their title brand.
Although my primary business is remote management and secretarial services (virtual assistance), I…

The last couple weeks I've laid low on my virtual business to deal with some medical issues with my daughter. They aren't over yet but we're headed the right direction. So over the next week or so I plan to get back into the swing of blogging, podcasting and giving free things away. Having been through an experience like this has proven to me more how important it is me to fulfill my VA dream. It's also showed me being positive is the best thing for me and those around me.

I’ve been coaching and mentoring virtual assistants for more than two years. The number one issue that comes through in everything from marketing to client retention is ALWAYS pricing. How to establish your rates? How to take a rate increase? Fear of losing current clients because of an increase? Stumbling over our words when someone asks us what our rates are?
The list goes on and on – and it continues to challenge us even when we’ve been in business for years and years. With the…

Teleseminars are a great way to accelerate the growth of your business or any business.
Before we get started though, I must warn you about something. It is very likely you’re your first one will be your worst one.
That's OK though, don't let that hold you back. Let's get the first one going and done so you can move on from there. It's also really just fine if your first one goes off well too.
