FindVirtual

Find tips, tricks & tools for building a freelance business & virtual lifestyle.

I received a Skype inquiry today from a VA saying her business wasn't going so well and she wanted to know how mine was doing. I began asking questions and found she's been a VA for over a year, has 1 or 2 clients, but just isn't "there" yet. She has a business plan and marketing strategy, but is not making traction like she wants.

I call this interesting because even with basic business "tools", she's not reaching the clients she desires. So I ask you, what's holding you back from putting your ideal client into your income funnel -- lack of tools or experience, no plan, unaware of the newest technologies, or just not comfortable with being a VA, etc.?

Soon, the OIVAC Steering Committee will be hosting the 5th international VA convention (May 20-22), and your responses may lead to some interesting topics/presentations. So share your thoughts with us: If we could host a session on any topic of your choice, what would it be?

Please take a few moments and take our ONE question survey. Here's the link.

I agree, Sue.

We need to persevere, but sometimes it takes too long to obtain "ideal" clients, and we become discouraged. One of the convention's purposes (intentions) is to educate VAs on how to break through those barriers and failures. If you have any suggestions, please complete the survey question. Your suggestion may be just the topic we're looking for.

Thanks for responding.

Sometimes we push and push and then stop because we don't see results. And if we just push a little bit more, we break through the barriers to success. Sometimes we have to fail first in order to succeed.
