If you could start over and were just now thinking about starting a virtual assistant business, what would you do differently? If you haven't yet started your virtual assistant business, what questions do you have about starting it?

Looking back, there are several things I'd do differently. Since I just fell into the business and wasn't actively looking to start a business, I didn't have in place much of the foundation a new business needs. Fortunately, I had my business coach (also my husband) to guide me as I went along. And so now, based on my own experience, I am able to coach and help other new and aspiring virtual assistants so they don't have to learn the hard way as I did.

So what would you do differently? Would you have a business plan in place? What about a marketing plan? Would you have kept your full-time job until your VA business reached a certain level? I'd love to hear from you!
