Hi Sue,
I too look forward to connecting with you on Tuesday. It was unfortunate that I couldn't attend your call in February. However, I did hear the entire call while I was editing it. Great call - loaded with some excellent information !
Talk to you soon !
I really enjoyed our meeting last week, and I'm especially thankful that you and Joel could jump in on such short notice. I've even made an appointment with a counselor at Sierra College to discuss their VA coursework and look forward to expanding my horizons. I mentioned that I prefer to keep a low profile. I've managed to resist any and all social sites until I discovered the local Australian Shepherd Meetup, which led me to stumbling upon the VA Meetup, and a lucky stumble it was! I look forward to seeing everyone in Auburn later this month.
I was wondering, what does FV do to draw businesses to this site to look for VA's? Just curious how that end of the site works for people. The obvious great things about the site are the networking and business ideas.
Thank you, Sue. I look forward to connecting with others in the forum. I watched your video, very clever! We have 36 members in our Meetup Group and growing.
Hi Sue
Yes they are similar, but not very.... and I've found weaknesses when using databases, rather than just linking sites.
Gist is about other people you know, and what they're doing.
Xeesm is about you and creating, revising, building and securing your own brand.
I hope that clarifies it.
If your VA's find it useful, I'm happy to post weekly.
But I'll need reminding .... I do not blog!
As ever, Simon
Hi Sue
You asked ... We need to educate business owners in how a VA can help them grow!
Firstly, VA's need to understand that SEO is always on business owners minds.
Secondly, they need a trick or two up their sleeve to prove their value.
So here's trick one, aggregation.
Use http://www.xeesm.com/simonhamer to add all the social media in one place then all of their connections can find out about them wherever they are active. This is a zero cost service which is simple to complete but works a treat.
Whoever decides to use it, make sure they all connect with me here.
Happy to help whoever I can, I'm a full time social media advocate.
Thank you Sue. Mary Fitzgibbons sent me the link. Yes, I sure will let you know about South Africa, just happy to finally be hooking up with of the greatest VA's in America. Have a great weekend further and chat soon
Hi Sue ! It's nice up there too ! I am originally from Switzerland, we are here on a temporary assignment. Loving it... Looking forward to networking with you !
Hey Sue is their a favorite way to time your jobs? I know the average hourly rate is $30 and charged by the minute but what do you use to time it and show on your invoices the time worked?
Thank you Sue! That's great that we are so close. It will be good to start networking with local professionals. I look forward to the meeting next weekend.
