I am willing to commit to making this a part of my morning routine. Thanks again Joel.

Super!

Now, here comes the hard part: are you gonna do this again tomorrow? ;)

I certainly sat down to work in a more relaxed frame of mind. I tend to wake up thinking about all of the tasks that "lie in wait" for me. Walking and not focusing on anything in particular was a much better way to start the day. I'm much more relaxed, focused and my mind is clearer. I'm ready to tackle whatever comes my way.

One thing that has made this hard to keep up is that because of Sue's health problems a few years ago, she needs more sleep than me, so I'm up 2 or 3 hours before her, and by the time she's up, I'm not in the mood for a walk any more! (Yeah, I go without her if I have to, but it's just not the same.)

Let me know if you notice a difference in your creativity and problem-solving after your walk, Pam.

Just remember not to think about work while you're walking!

What a great idea! I'm going to take your advice and take a short walk to clear my mind before getting to work. It's a beautiful morning and I might as well take advantage of it. Thanks Joel.
